Footage from Tsunami in Japan - March 11 2011

This footage is somehwat scary, and so you need to be warned that this could spark fear or anxiety. On the other hand, it is a documented record of what happened after the earthquake in Japan, and interesting to view in the safety of ones home.

Yu Muroga was doing his job making deliveries when the 11 March 2011 earthquake hit in Japan. Unaware, like many people in the area, of how far inland the Tsunami would travel, he continued to drive and do his job. The HD camera mounted on his dashboard captured not only the earthquake, but also the moment he and several other drivers were suddenly engulfed in the Tsunami. He escaped from the vehicle seconds before it was crushed by other debris and sunk underwater. His car and the camera have only recently been recovered by the police. The camera was heavily damaged but a video expert was able to retrieve this footage.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was in New York City last week making the media rounds to promote a new line of hunting-related video games. Michaels made a stop by the studio of hip hop news radio station Hot 97 and did a sit-down interview with Peter Rosenberg.

Times Atlas of the World Caught in Global Warming Lie!

Recent satellite images of Greenland make it clear that there are in fact still numerous glaciers and permanent ice cover where the new Times Atlas shows ice-free conditions and the emergence of new lands,' they say in a letter that has been sent to the Times. Others have pointed out that if 15 percent of Greenland ice cover had been lost, then sea levels would have risen by 1 meter.

George Carlin on Saving the Planet

I have to agree, Carlin had it correct, we need more clear thinkers like this man was. We can not save or destroy the planet! The planet is just fine. A must see...

Ram Express on Gearz!

Stacey David knows value when he sees it. On this episode of Gearz he notes how expensive sports cars are today, and how cheap a 2 door Ram Express with a Hemi really is. Smart man!

IRS and Tax Return

The IRS sent back my tax return. Seems as though I answered one of the questions wrong.

In answer to the question, 'Do you have any dependents?',

I listed:

12 million illegal immigrants, 10 million crack heads, 20 million unemployed bastards too lazy to work, 140,000 people in 133 penal establishments, 2 million leftovers from Katrina, half of Mexico, all of the Senate, and most of the House of Representatives.

Apparently, this wasn't an acceptable answer.

Apple Sues Samsung - Blocks Galaxy Tab

So if Apple is suing, it goes to help support the idea that this is their main competition, and probably as good or better than the iPad. It would be worth a look when shopping for a tablet PC.

New Toyota Tacoma for 2012

Looks like while some major players are bowing out of the mid size truck market, Toyota has upped the stakes. This newly redesigned Tacoma is an eye catcher, with some major mods to the front end and interior. I really like the changes, and would definitely consider this one. Toyota vehicles have always seemed very ugly to my tastes, but not this time. I am hoping that the cab is roomy and the power train has more of the first word, power!

New Mac eBay Application

I used to use Turbo Lister on the PC many years ago, so this app is a welcome site, and testament to the fact the Mac has grown in support and in user community numbers. Check it out at the iTune link below:
