Rocky & Bullwinkle - Fractured Fairy Tales | For Kids ️
Here are some classic Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons from many (45 plus) years ago, which I used to watch on Saturday mornings, since that was the only day that cartoons were on TV. They were filled with puns and references to historical topics, so it required one to think. I didn't know that then, I just liked the gags, but Rocky & Bullwinkle really was an intelligent cartoon. Not just slapstick and violence. Well worth watching again!

Need older Mac OSX Installations?
Not many people know that they are till available, but require a few shortcuts. AppleInsider tells us more. If you use the App Store on your Mac, know that once it downloads, it will complain that this version may not be able to be installed. Goto your Finder, and do a search for the installer. It should show in your Apps folder, but if not, you can find it and copy to a location of your choice. If you have an archive of all your old installs, they can expire, so feel free to grab them all again. Read for more information!

Watch: Trump salutes Rush Limbaugh at the State of the Union
Rush Limbaugh received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The highest award allowed to be given to a citizen. This is quite an honor, and well deserved.
President Trump declared...
"Almost every American family knows the pain when a loved one is diagnosed with a serious illness. Here tonight is a special man, someone beloved by millions of Americans who just received a Stage 4 advanced cancer diagnosis. This is not good news, but what is good news is that he is the greatest fighter and winner that you will ever meet," President Trump said to the broadcaster.
"Rush, in recognition of all that you have done for our nation, the millions of people a day that you speak to and you inspire and all of the incredible work that you have done for charity, I am proud to announce tonight that you will be receiving our country's highest civilian honor: The Presidential Medal of Freedom," Trump said Tuesday night.

President Trump Delivers Remarks at the 47th Annual March for Life
Fantastic President, judge him by his actions. It gets better each day! He stands for life, and against the misguided idea that murdering unborn children is some kind of right. Listen closely! You will not hear this speech in the Media.

Microsoft Edge for MAC!
Microsoft has released their Edge Browser for Mac. Not only for Mac, but also for IOS and Android. Their marketing is a true cross platform solution. They may actually have something there. But for me, it will take some time for me to accept a Microsoft Browser, knowing how they attempted to kill competition years ago by bundling it with their Windows 98 OS system, and face Anti Trust charges. That was many years ago, but not forgotten. So bad in fact, Microsoft was cut down the middle into two. Microsoft will need to prove their worthiness to be a true competitor against the Super speedy Chrome browser, and the Google search engine.
I do plan to give it a test run. I am curious. For me the Edge browser itself never really impressed me. See for yourself!

Apple Releases Security Updates for MacOS Mojave
In this Blog I gave a roasting to Apple for pushing an update out that removed the possibility of running 32 bit apps. However, to my surprise, Apple just released an Update to the previous OS Mojve (with Safari too). Take a look to see the details now act is patched.
Like me, if you were not ready to ditch your 32 bit apps yet, and you decided not to upgrade, all is not lost. As long as Apple maintains a strong security posture, and releases patches to Mojave... I m forced to give them some points! Though they didn't indicate they would release a patch and normally go full steam ahead, dropping support for older OS systems, I must assume that they had a small change of heart for Apple fans. I applaud this continued support, and this will allow me time to update my key apps that are 32 bit. I intend to update at some point, but app developers are driving this one for me.
To install this update, run Software Update, and choose the OTHER options. You will get a list and ability to check the patches you want installed.
Apple still needs to communicate a little better to its customers, on their plans and update strategies, but this is a start!

Apple's Arrogant Attitude Has Created Serious Problems With MacOS Catalina
Apple wants all of its developers to use 64-bit applications. In its view this is obviously a better solution, and to push that through Apple has removed all support for 32-bit applications in Catalina. That means that countless legacy applications and previous versions of popular apps will no longer work.
What warning do you get during the installation? A nondescript dialog that pops up to say your 32-applications will not work. And if you get all the way through the installation of the OS update and find out that your key applications are 32-bit and no longer run, well, you’re out of luck.
Read more at Forbes as written by Evan Spence What a disappointing turn of events. Why not allow legacy 32 bit apps to function? Many people have invested big funds to support Apple systems. iPad is the same way. We have some apps on an older iPad that function fine, but I am unable to move them to the new iPad. Why? They are my apps, none of their business what I want to run. Overpriced hardware with limited software. Shame! Apple is so consumed with $$$ they ignored the duty to provide support to its core base. Not forever, but 2-3 versions, should have been easy for such a "fantastic" set of programmers.
See more here at Times. Apparently Micorosft Office apps for Mac are all 32 bit!
Make sure you check, I did a check on my software, and was SHOCKED that some of my favorite apps were all 32 bit. Some of my best productivity apps, and freebie tools are all 32 bit. BIG LOSS for me. Maybe time to go back to Windows after 10 years of doing the Mac thing..
How to check? Open the About This Mac under the Apple logo, then run System Report, and choose Legacy Software on left side.
