Pro Wrestler Roddy Piper Has Cancer

One of my Idols as a kid was the famous Rowdy Roddy Piper (seen below with Ric Flair). His in ring persona as well as his outside real life persona illustrated that he takes crap from no one. His example of living life his way, to have the guts to be free from external influence and pressure, was a huge inspiration to me while growing up during my parents divorce, when I was a teenager. Rowdy Roddy Piper gave me a role model which kept me on track and independent. He has contracted Lymphoma Cancer.
