Chrysler/Fiat Boneheads Ending PT Cruiser!

Alert! The PT Cruiser Final Addition will launch in the fourth quarter 2010 for sale in 2011 — most likely the final year of the PT. (November 4, 2009)

In an Automotive News interview, Bryan Nesbitt said, “I didn’t like the update they did when they [altered] the headlights. But I find it interesting that Chrysler decided to keep it in production. I believe it is the most profitable small car in Chrysler’s history. ... I’ve always liked the way it looks. I think it looks better when it is lowered two inches with 18 inch wheels.”

As of September 1, 2009, there were under a thousand PT Cruisers available across the United States — less than two weeks’ supply.

According to PTCRUIZER.com, they have attained confirmation that 2011 is the final year for the PT Cruiser. At a time when expensive sticker prices on cars are killing the market, and smaller cars are in demand, Chrysler and FIAT have exemplified why they are not market leaders and are allowing the suits who sit in offices, pinching pennies, decide the future. The PT Cruiser is one of the highest quality, popular, and well designed cars that Chrysler has ever created. Shame that the suits don't actually drive the cars they make, opting for large Hemi V8 engines is cool, but an economical alternative for families and fleet sales made the PT one of the most popular cars ever in Chrysler history. They ended the Convertible in 2008, then ended the GT version that actually performed, in 2009, and seems that in 2010 there is just one model option left to purchase. This undoubtedly will kill off the PT Cruiser like the suits want. I guess Chrysler deserved to go under, instead of getting bailouts, when they are unable to make the correct critical decisions to keep good vehicles, and continue to dump money into vehicles that don't sell. How about some of the Jeep models!

PT only needed more performance (keep the turbo), a better larger seat that tracks back more for longer legs, and a larger gas tank.

A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

2. No Tenure / No Pension:

A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office...

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security:
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, Congress participates with the American people.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people..

8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/10.

The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.


Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

Time for a Class Action Lawsuit Against Apple

Apple has done it again! They have decided to force their latest Safari browser, coupled with iTunes 9, on each of us. This is purely an anti-competitive practice. I wonder if anyone would like to represent me? The facts: I don't want to use Safari 4, it is bloated, and Safari 3 is my preferred browser of choice. To order in iTunes, a message pops up I have to upgrade my iTunes. I do so, then when I try to use it, it insists that I also have to upgrade my Safari browser. I would like to know if anyone who has removed Safari, has iTunes forcing them to load and use Safari. I recall many legions of folks attacking Microsoft about tying their browser to simple OS functions, like file browsing. Governments across the globe sued, and fined Microsoft. I am waiting for Apple to receive the same courtesy. They have no right to force me into a browser I don't want to use. Matter of fact, I removed iTunes and loaded my older version. I then re-imported my modified music library. I refuse to upgrade based on forced strong arm tactics. I guess I just don't like to be TOLD what to do! What about you?
