CultTVMan News on Batman Adam West Moebius Kit

There will be a Batman kit coming from Moebius Models that was shown at the San Diego Comic Con.  This is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2013 according to CULTTVMAN Fantastic Modelling.   The image shown is a painted concept of what the kit may look like.  Jeff Yagher sculpted this model to drum up interest.  I would say Kudos, we are interested.  I hope they move forward on producing this model kit.  I have seen garage kits modified to Adam West's likeness, but this is the best.

Stacey David's Drag-N-Wagon For Sale

For those truck and car enthusiasts, you probably know or have heard of Stacey David.  He is the light hearted guy on TV that loves to chop up vehicles and make them perform.  He took a Dodge Ram Express and boosted it's performance, making it into a fun performance "car".  Well he has it listed for sale on his website.  Good Luck!

Ford F-150 Tremor for 2014 - Finally Worth a Look!

Finally Ford will deliver a sport truck worth looking at. The Tremor for 2014 is a very nice looking stock F-150. Look at the images from this Motortrend article to see the new center stack, which is my favorite mod. The old center stack was UGLY and scattered. One major flaw is that the V6 ecoboost will dominate the truck. It may be a good engine, but give us something closer to the Dodge Hemi = Performance!

Star Trek Shuttle Restored - Like NEW!

The Galileo 7, a life-sized prop used as a shuttlecraft in the original “Star Trek” TV series in the 1960s, was christened after being completely restored by the business after months of work on Saturday afternoon. The prop is 24 feet long, 14 feet wide and weighs more than 3,000 pounds.
Looks like this is an amazing transformation. I read this several years ago, and this shuttle prop was a mess. It took real money, effort, and dedication to get this back to original glory! Congratulations!

Apple's Past Mistakes Could Be a Sign Of Things To Come.

One has to wonder what Apple was thinking when they created these bombshells. MacWorld shows us the largest mistakes Apple has made since their inception. Something to consider, they are doing really well now, but Apple has a hard headed nature to it, almost condescending. They don't make what customers want, they force customers to buy what they make. Sometimes the results work, sometimes they don't. Read this interesting article from MacWorld.

New Look for Weblinksnewsletter

It is quite apparent that the look and feel has changed for Weblinksnewsletter.  My old Blue.Green template has gone and replaced with a more modern site with modern features.  Not sure what mileage I will get from it, but it is still nice to see a change.  Hope you like it!  Not the Batman peel back in the top right hand corner - Schweet!

Windows 8 - Why you should hold off.

Adrian from ZDnet says: With the introduction of Windows 8, Microsoft removed the Start button, the Start menu, and pushed the desktop into the background. Were these changes too much for users who'd spent decades getting used to how Windows worked? Read More...

I say that Windows 8 at first glance runs well, is easy to use if your apps are on the tiles already, and yes, very snappy.  What I don't like is the kludgy fat finger - non precision interface.  Fingers are nice for big blocks and 1st grade pencils, but the mouse pointer is a precision device, not a blob.  I also dislike the way that the most useful settings lack easy paths to the advanced settings.  Windows 8 and yes, even Windows 7, make you dig deep to find advanced settings.  Power users beware.  Advanced settings should be accessible via a one stop shop screen or app/library.  Why all the hunting?

I wonder why the Start Button was pulled from the Windows 8 desktop?  Why couldn't Windows 8 have both the tiles and the Start Button, and why didn't Microsoft allow it's users to choose?  Makes you wonder how they tested the interface, if they did at all.  Remember Windows 95 supposedly went through extensive usability testing?  Windows 8 was tested by 10 programmers who like smart phones. Did they even test on PCs?

Welsh Remodeling Closed for Good - Out of Business - Good Bye!

Welsh Construction Remodeling, LLC
3901 E Monument St Baltimore, MD 21205‎
‪(410) 732-1360‬   welsh49.com

Welsh Remodeling has reportedly gone out of business.  My wife and I dealt with them 5 + or more years back, and the experience was horrible.  The workers did a pretty good job, we had windows done, and siding.  Windows were great - great guys who did a great job, especially on my front window, took special time to do a great job.  Siding guys were lazy, and didn't want to put the porch lights back on, or my house numbers they knocked off.  They would hammer or hit them off the house with force, they said it was my problem - they just do siding.  NO you took them down, get your electrician up here to put them back on.  I ended up doing it myself.  Incompetent!  I had a whole list of issues, and their manager treated me with NO respect.  One of my requests was to have caulk applied to a power cable that went through the siding.  I asked several times, so the manager came a few weeks later and put a HUGE gob of caulk on the spot (3 inches thick).  Just to teach me a lesson.  Well what comes around goes around, sorry the good workers lost their jobs, but Welsh stunk and deserved to go under.  Many customers got work done, and think that it was good, but if you had an issue they didn't make it right, and didn't respect the customer.  It was just a matter of time.  No warranties will be honored now, so lets see over the long haul if they remain happy.  I filed a BBB complaint, but they did nothing, BBB basically worthless too!

New Toyota Tundra 2014

"Seven years is a long time in the automotive industry -- and, it now seems, the full-size truck market. We've watched Ford introduce twin-turbocharged engines, Ram roll out rear coil springs and active aerodynamic touches, and GM recently completely overhauled both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Toyota, however, has done virtually nothing to amend its Tundra since it debuted in 2005 -- but that changes with the 2014 Tundra."

A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them.

"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms...If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction."

Listen to what Obama is doing, Ronald Reagan knew!

Want to see how Socialist Obama is simply re-reading the same old nonsense? Ronald Reagan spoke out about the same exact liberal and socialist principles that Obama's plans create. Poverty. This is a long one, but worth watching. Take note how the struggles then are the same struggles today, and how the Socialists are using the same tactics to take your money in Taxes and how they are still trying to throw out the Rule of Law. Be careful, it is happening before our eyes.

Stop Gun Violence, Mandatory Gun Ownership!

(NaturalNews) The most appropriate response to gun violence in America is to simply mandate that all able bodied, responsible citizens own guns and be formally trained in their proper use. This is the unconventional impetus behind a new movement known as Project Amendment 28, which follows the lead of Switzerland in trying to promote a peaceful, well-balanced society through compulsory gun ownership.

Though it is sure to generate considerable controversy among those with a political or personal aversion to guns, the concept has already been shown to be a success elsewhere. According to Mike Piccione from The Daily Caller, the man behind Project Amendment 28, the U.S. would do well to mimic the model of the European nation of Switzerland, which has long maintained that all civilians should possess firearms, and also happens to have one of the safest and most desirable societies in Europe.

"[The Swiss] love guns so much that their government picks up the tab to ensure that people own them and form militias," writes Piccione, advocating for a similar approach here in the states. "That's right, government funded civilian militias are the foundation of the most peaceful of European countries."

Switzerland is so comfortable with guns, in fact, that some citizens openly stroll the streets with Sig SG 550s, for instance, a powerful and fully-automatic "assault rifle" that would draw considerable attention here in the U.S. And contrary to what the anti-gun lobby would have you believe, this unique policy of open gun ownershiphas not resulted in a society marked by bloodshed and school shootings.

"[Despite the prevalence of guns, the violent-crime rate is low (in Switzerland): government figures show about 0.5 gun homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in 2010," wrote Helena Bachmann in a recent piece for TIME. "By comparison, the U.S. rate in the same year was about 5 firearm killings per 100,000 people, according to a 2011 U.N. report." America's founders envisioned a similar 'gun culture' in the U.S. What this illustrates, of course, is that guns are not the problem, and that they may actually be the solution. By properly training citizens to use firearms, and then arming them with weapons capable of promoting peace and defending against violence and terrorism, a nation can stand strong and unified. To some, this idea might sound crazy, but it is precisely what the founders envisioned when they penned the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution with specific provisions for a well regulated militia.

"In order to provide for the security of the individual, state and general well-being of the country, all able bodied individuals shall be required to own one modern firearm and a minimum of ten rounds of associated ammunition," suggests Piccione as the possible wording for a potential 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would require gun ownership.

"Individuals are required to receive training in marksmanship and operation of firearms... Individuals that are fundamentally opposed to owning a firearm shall be taxed and each year shall register with the government as firearms objectors until age 62 or until proven by a medical doctor to be unable to operate a firearm."

Welcome to the future, this is truly futuristic, using tech from today. One thing I dislike about touch screen computers, I leave prints all over the thing. Smudges, marks, yuck! But with the Motion Controller, you no longer have to touch the screen, but you are still free from the mouse and trackpads. This gesture control interface has alot of promise if it can deliver as advertised.

Retina Display Troubles for Apple

Poor quality again for Apple.  Seems paying exuberant prices doesn't always give you the best.  Thats what happens when you think you know what is best, instead of using tried and true solutions.  Apple should start making all those little chinese kids who make their products, work toward better quality goods.  One of the best reasons to delay buying into cutting edge products.

When Apple launched the new Macbook Pro Retina Display (rMBP), it set a new bar for monitor resolutions. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to have set it quite high enough — an increasing group of customers are loudly unhappy with unacceptable image retention times and what’s described as burn-in. Those terms imply three different types of display problem. Ghosting is a motion blur effect that occurs when pixel response time isn’t high enough, while burn-in refers to permanent screen damage caused by the long-term display of a static image. Neither term accurately describes what’s happening here.

Dvorak: Nothing Can be Fixed Anymore

It is about time that someone says this. I was thinking it myself. Leave it to one of my favorite web and magazine technology gurus... Point is that we are indeed becoming sheep. The article speaks of the latest Mac laptop, but this statement is far reaching, and transcend technology!

Dvorak says: I write about this trend every so often and I find it very distressing because of the effect it has on the users of this equipment. It fosters a feeling of helplessness at all levels of daily life. No wonder there is a great and growing dependency on government and institutions; the public has been trained as a permanent dependent.

Take a look at the article for yourself. Another brilliant piece... I wonder, with all the liberal hippie BS that flows from Apple (I use Mac software too) how is it they can justify toss away and wasteful products, such that use soldered and proprietary parts and drives, that can not be replaced in case of failure.  Sorry, I won't be buying the new Macbook anytime soon.

How Las Vegas missed out on Lifesize Enterprise!

In 1992, plans were in the works to create a life-sized Starship Enterprise in downtown Las Vegas. The model ship would have been roughly as long as the Eiffel Tower is tall, and would have contained all the key rooms and areas from the original Star Trek series. Vegas business owners loved the idea, and so did Paramount Licensing. So what went wrong?

Mark Levin on ‘Ameritopia:’ ‘We Now Live in a Post-Constitutional Country’

A small portion of the interview with Mark Levin at CNSNews.com:

Well, the latter. And the question for me today is—I talk about this post-constitutional country we are in, and the name of the book is “Ameritopia,” because I believe we live today not in the American republic, you know, founded by our forefathers, we live in an “Ameritopia.” And I’ll give you some examples, as I do in one of the chapters, of the book. Look around in your house. You can’t even decide what light bulb to put in your house or showerhead or toilet. Open your medicine cabinet. Everything in there is regulated. Look at your electronics. Every single electronic device you have has some government stamp of approval. Washing machines, dryers, toasters, the gypsum board that is used to build your home, the roofing tile that is on your house, whether you can actually build a house on a particular piece of property that you own, all of this is regulated and managed by government.

So you have to ask yourself: How did we exist before all this? How did we manage to get along before all this? And I’m just starting. If we take the automobile: Automobiles are now designed in Washington D.C., pretty much. If you look at even the labor market: The labor market is basically a response to all these government laws, labor laws and other laws that are in place. Go down this hallway here to the vending machine. The vending machine is now regulated by the Department of Agriculture and other parts of the government on what can be said and cannot be said about the stuff that’s in the vending machine.

Interesting Indictment of Jobs' Actual Performance at Apple

One never wants to trample someone who is deceased, however, I do like TRUTH. I like truth even if it hurts you. Not many people do, and most run and hide from the truth, especially if it condemns them to improper behavior. In this article from Gawker.com, authored by Ryan Tate, we see deep inside the real Apple computer, and we wonder how this kind of behavior and treatment of individuals can be allowed to happen in the first place.

Before he was deposed from Apple the first time around, Jobs already had a reputation internally for acting like a tyrant. Jobs regularly belittled people, swore at them, and pressured them until they reached their breaking point. In the pursuit of greatness he cast aside politeness and empathy. His verbal abuse never stopped.

Jobs had his share of personal shortcomings, too. He has no public record of giving to charity over the years, despite the fact he became wealthy after Apple's 1980 IPO and had accumulated an estimated $7 billion net worth by the time of his death. After closing Apple's philanthropic programs on his return to Apple in 1997, he never reinstated them, despite the company's gusher of profits.

Steve Jobs created many beautiful objects. He made digital devices more elegant and easier to use. He made a lot of money for Apple Inc. after people wrote it off for dead. He will undoubtedly serve as a role model for generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing depends on how honestly his life is appraised.

The truth is always better than fiction! Read on!

Steve Jobs RIP

Apple founder Steve Jobs has passed away. Many tributes are going out to him, and no wonder. Steve Jobs is the ultimate American entrepreneur. He is truly a model by which we should all admire. He founded a company with bold ideas, and little money. He worked very hard to climb the ladder, creating products and a company that even in hard times, makes huge profits. He created a company that provides products that an entire industry copies. He did it all his way, regardless of nay sayers. Even while he was very sick, he worked hard, and continued to lead a company that has gotten better, larger, yet more nimble, and at the same time more financially secure. Even though he was loved by liberals, his ideas were hardly even close to liberal idealism. Liberals believe that everyone else owes them something, but Steve Jobs didn't buy that nonsense, he knew you had to reach for what you wanted, work hard, and never say never. He was a true conservative, a real modern American! Steve, thanks for making computing fun, and bringing multimedia to our fingertips.

Hollywood Flunky Copy Cats = Paramount!

It just came to my attention that Hollywood, namely Paramount Pictures, has decided to remake Footloose. This is the classic movie that stars Kevin Bacon as a city slicker who moves to a small town, to face a sad fact that dancing is illegal. He fights to legalize the dancing, and tries to convince civic leaders why they should side with him. This was a great feel good movie. I left the theater wanted to dance (that says alot for me who has 2 left feet). So Paramount decides to remake the old movie, with new characters and similar if not exact same old story. I ask why? Can't Paramount come up with any new material? Why remake old movies into new movies? I know it is dollars, but this strategy won't last for long. Why not just take the old original movie and re-release it, saving production time and schedules. They could digitize the old movie, clean it up, and re-release it. Just seems silly to me to redo everything. Come on Hollywood come up with some original ideas. You could remake Wizard of OZ (yet again) and use the great special effects from George Lucas.

Footage from Tsunami in Japan - March 11 2011

This footage is somehwat scary, and so you need to be warned that this could spark fear or anxiety. On the other hand, it is a documented record of what happened after the earthquake in Japan, and interesting to view in the safety of ones home.

Yu Muroga was doing his job making deliveries when the 11 March 2011 earthquake hit in Japan. Unaware, like many people in the area, of how far inland the Tsunami would travel, he continued to drive and do his job. The HD camera mounted on his dashboard captured not only the earthquake, but also the moment he and several other drivers were suddenly engulfed in the Tsunami. He escaped from the vehicle seconds before it was crushed by other debris and sunk underwater. His car and the camera have only recently been recovered by the police. The camera was heavily damaged but a video expert was able to retrieve this footage.

IRS and Tax Return

The IRS sent back my tax return. Seems as though I answered one of the questions wrong.

In answer to the question, 'Do you have any dependents?',

I listed:

12 million illegal immigrants, 10 million crack heads, 20 million unemployed bastards too lazy to work, 140,000 people in 133 penal establishments, 2 million leftovers from Katrina, half of Mexico, all of the Senate, and most of the House of Representatives.

Apparently, this wasn't an acceptable answer.

Apple Sues Samsung - Blocks Galaxy Tab

So if Apple is suing, it goes to help support the idea that this is their main competition, and probably as good or better than the iPad. It would be worth a look when shopping for a tablet PC.

New Toyota Tacoma for 2012

Looks like while some major players are bowing out of the mid size truck market, Toyota has upped the stakes. This newly redesigned Tacoma is an eye catcher, with some major mods to the front end and interior. I really like the changes, and would definitely consider this one. Toyota vehicles have always seemed very ugly to my tastes, but not this time. I am hoping that the cab is roomy and the power train has more of the first word, power!

Macs No Longer Beginner Friendly

This Extreme Tech article says it all, Macs may no longer be beginner user friendly. They may no longer be the envy of personal computer users, and they may no longer be the unattainable pie in the sky. Thankfully we can all keep Snow Leopard until Apple changes this error. Or we can load Windows on the PC based Macs and shrug off this fanciful test down the Apple road.

Happy 30th Birthday DOS

Happy 30th Birthday to Dos, the OS (if you can call it that, ok I guess we will) that I learned how to program on, and which gave me a hobby that turned into a career. Thanks DOS, IBM and Microsoft.

Another Anti Mac OSX Lion Article - How To Make Lion More Like Snow Leopard

I am actually shocked, many articles and blog posts are cropping up about how to make Mac OSX LION v10.7 look and act more like Snow Leopard v10.6. I wonder how many people are disappointed with their $30 investment, just to allow Apple to make money and get the OS right by trial and error in a few service packs from now. I changed from a PC to the Mac over 4 years ago. I was and still am a Windows PC System Admin. My experience on the Mac has mostly been positive, and to this point I think a great decision. It seems to be motivated by profit, instead of the noble reasons of making things better for us all. However, during these times when Apple decides it wants to force interface changes or OS changes that really shake the basic core foundation of what computing is all about, I question the decision. I like the Mac OSX because it is based on a very strong underlying UNIX operating system, with normally clean multitasking, and robust well designed applications. I also really enjoy the normal PC mouse and interface, with Windows, that I control, versus Apple controlling them for me. I guess I just like freedom. The Mac has provided me freedom from political decisions in the computer world for 4 years. But LION is a purely political OS decision that strives to force us into an upgrade box that is controlled by the mother ship. I don't like that. I guess I should have expected that from a corporation run by Liberals, which wants to tell it's customers what is best, instead of having the customers tell the company. I can cite many recent decisions in the last year that seem to ignore what we want. Many will say that LION is the future. Maybe on a cell phone or MP3 player, but not on my desktop. I choose to think for myself, and use what I want, when I want to use it. You should also use what you want, and not be forced into upgrades for eye candy sakes. I wonder what will happen when the iPod and iPhone die off, as all things eventually do, and Apple will have to succumb to what the customers want once again. But will the customers care? Microsoft has a HUGE opportunity right now to finish off the Mac. Lets see if they take advantage of this bungle by Jobs.

Mac OSX Lion is slower than Snow Leopard

If Microsoft were to unleash a slower operating system on the masses, even if for a measly $30, there would be class action lawsuits. But the mesmerized youth who have been sold by slick marketing and cheap price tags, insist on spending money for slow software, and then attempt to disable features they don't want, that if left at the Snow Leopard version, would be $30 cheaper, and basically be the same operating system feature wise. I don't mind people upgrading for a reason, but this upgrade for the sake of giving Apple more money in their slush fund doesn't make sense to me. Take a look at the comparison, Snow Leopard wins in all but one comparison for speed.

Beavis and Butthead Returns October 2011

In a hailed fanfare of support (from me at least) it was announced that Beavis and Butthead will return to MTV in October. Read on for the scoop!

Mac OSX Lion Review

Wow, this is a great review of the new Mac OSX Lion Operating System. The author, John Siracusa, knows his stuff, and provides you an in depth look at new features and highly technical details about how the OS operates, the file structure, and more. Not just another internet fluff piece or fanboy post. This is a must see for any technical expert, Mac fan, or person interested in Macs at all. Matter of fact, even if you are a PC user, this will lend insight into the Mac world. I love the questions posed for this $30 upgrade! I myself don't really want my Mac to be an iPhone, and my question is, if you can turn off all the IOS functions, why get it at all? You decide!

Sarah Palin Bus Tour

Wow, take a listen to Sarah Palin in the 2 YouTube videos (interviewed by Fox), live. No teleprompter here, just good old optimism, and patriotism. It was a real pleasure to hear Sarah Palin describe the problems facing the nation, and the inactivity that our current regime in Washington actually does and does not accomplish. Worth your time to listen, and decide for yourself. Decide if you want a good economy, or more of the same over the last 2 years. Scroll down for the interviews, "On The Record".

Macho Man Randy Savage Passes Away

One of my favorite Wrestling personalities, Macho Man Randy Savage passed away last week. He was a dominant character in the 80's boom in Pro Wrestling, and was responsible for high flying and dare devil wrestling as seen today in the ring. He was one of only 2 people that would jump off the top rope onto an opponent. Today this standard created by Macho Man, is expected of all superstars in wrestling.

Obama's Birth Certificate - Fake or Real?

Alot sure has been happening around the world, Bin Laden dead, Japanese Tsunami and Nuclear Reactor troubles, Terror Alerts high, and Obama Birth Certificate. Of the latter, take a look at this supposed actual Birth Certificate. It is obviously edited, though I can not speak for it being fake or real, if it is doctored, it can not be valid. The background is layered on, and the original background removed. I have to ask why? After all this time, a few years, Obama releases something and it looks like crap. Obviously it is doctored, but why, and why release something of such poor quality? Why not a scan of the actual original, undoctored? That is the question? What is this rogue President hiding behind?

Commodore 64 Coming Back Again!

The famous Commodore 64 is being redone, as a special commemorative computer release for the 30th anniversary, it would seem. Take a look at the pictures and commentary from CNET. A DVD burner, and modern USB ports are included, along with HD video output for today's high def TVs. Nice piece of nostalgia for the serious C64 fan. This is the computer that started it all.

Update: Here is detailed information on the Commodore 64x computer that comes with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Prices are $250 to $895 for the loaded model.

IBM Super Computer at DOE - So what?

I see all kinds of articles like this. Seems IBM has developed a Super Duper World's Fastest computer, for the Department of Energy. Wow. Ok.. Now so what? Can it run Mac OSX? Can it even run Windows 7? Can you do your taxes on it? Alot of stats are thrown at us, like how many teraflops it can do. Ok, but is that on real data? Is the computer actually useful? I never get answers to my questions in any high tech articles. They always want to bore us to death with speed calculations and teraflop numbers. How about real world features? My Mac, for instance, can capture video from an external VHS source, or I am able to run every single app on my Mac simultaneously, every one of my 204 apps. It is fun, try it! I also like pushing the envelope on the PC world. I believe the more apps that are running and open, are a real test of performance. Hmm, or maybe of quickly can an email be sent, or received. How about how quickly a single app opens? These are real world challenges. Ok so the IBM system is fast, but is it practical, and useful? Lets see that in an article for once. By the way, it won't be operational until 2012. Geez, talk about vapor ware.

Idiot Blogger from Washington Post

This is what happens when Idiots from the blogosphere enter TV. You get Ezra Klein. Absolutely incredible, he claims "the US Constitution has no binding power on anything". When liberal blowhards think like this nut job, might as well jump from the closest tall building or bridge. So called educated ass clowns like Ezra have absolutely no idea what they are saying, and it is even amazing that he dresses himself in the morning. Is this a stunt to get air play or blog hits? I sure hope so.

The US Constitution is simply the rule of law. Only the guidebook to a law abiding nation, but I guess none of that matters, and we can run around and do anything we want to regardless of something called principles or morals. Yes, toss all of it out, and watch these turds squirm when all hell breaks loose.

Joshua returns his iMac, and other interesting statements.

Great article about the pitfalls of a Windows user trying to switch to the Mac. Yeah, Macs are great, cool, high quality, expensive and supposedly chic, but this guy took some liberal license and added some humor. Mac nut jobs from all over jumped on the attack Joshua bandwagon. Funny how we get so passionate about a computer system, yet allow politicians to steal our liberty. Well, take a look at the articles from the Huffington Post, opening salvo. Then do read the part 2 response on what happened after he posted that article. I do not see the connection to Adam Lambert, 2 years ago, American Idol Winner, and fantastic vocalist. But I guess the point is that there is no need to get all riled up about unimportant things. Take a look at the results article.

Lost Apollo 11 Moonwalk tapes restored

A team of multimedia experts have been working since 2003, to restore the footage from the Apollo 11 moon landing. They basically take the old black and white footage and clean it up. Interesting that the original footage tapes were deemed lost, when NASA figured out they recorded over them in the 1980's. This is a prime example of why government is in efficient and wasteful, devoid of intelligent life. Obviously the tapes should have been treated as historic, but no, the brainiac engineers ay NASA recorded over them. Fortunately the converted original broadcast was also captured in Australia. Funny, this is where we got the footage to correct. Even in 1969 the feds couldn't do anything right.

Thankfully a version of the video has been restored, and a portion can be seen here.

Stand Up for WWE

The WWE, aka World Wrestling Entertainment, is under political biased attack. This due to the fact Linda McMahon, former CEO and wife to WWE President Vince McMahon, are under the political magnifying glass from wacky liberal opponent Richard Blumenthal.

I have to admit that in my 40 years of watching WWWF, WWF and now WWE, I have never witnessed criminal behavior. Pro Wrestling is a business, and it acts accordingly and proper, as far as I can tell. It offers a rich benefits package and handsome salary, to those who can actually qualify to perform in ring or on air. I read over the attacks and the WWE supplied facts, and they seem correct from my knowledge of the WWE. I suggest that those interested in electing Richard Blumenthal, consider the attacks and lies of a desperate man.

President's socialist takeover must be stopped - Washington Times

Jeff Kuhner from the Washington Times, calls for the Immediate Impeachment of Obama. This is way overdue, and someone should have asked these questions months if not a year or two ago. If we would have had information, that is locked away, hidden in secret files, by the Obama administration, we would never have elected this pathologic liar.

President Obama has engaged in numerous high crimes and misdemeanors. The Democratic majority in Congress is in peril as Americans reject his agenda. Yet more must be done: Mr. Obama should be impeached.

He is slowly - piece by painful piece - erecting a socialist dictatorship. We are not there - yet. But he is putting America on that dangerous path. He is undermining our constitutional system of checks and balances; subverting democratic procedures and the rule of law; presiding over a corrupt, gangster regime; and assaulting the very pillars of traditional capitalism. Like Venezuela's leftist strongman, Hugo Chavez, Mr. Obama is bent on imposing a revolution from above - one that is polarizing America along racial, political and ideological lines. Mr. Obama is the most divisive president since Richard Nixon. His policies are Balkanizing the country. It's time for him to go.

The End Of The Rule Of Law

The End Of The Rule Of Law

August 2, 2010 by Bob Livingston

Some call the Barack Obama administration progressive. Some call it socialist. Other terms used are Marxist and communist.

I have called it fascist and corporatist in the past. Now I’ll just call it Evil.

That’s because the rule of law is dead in America. Now we have the rule of man—or government agency. The rule of man—or government agency—is a rule of Evil because it knows only the moral bounds of those making the rules. And it’s evident this administration, its appointments and its goals are amoral, if not immoral.

In America there is a Federal law that makes being in the United States illegally illegal. There is a requirement in the law that those who are not United States citizens but are here legally must carry papers designating their legal status.

That law is not enforced. Why? Someone decided not to. Granted it hasn’t been enforced for some time, maybe since its enactment in the 1940s, but it is a law and it should be enforced or changed. Were we under the rule of law it would be.

In Arizona the legislature followed the rule of law—and the will of its citizens—and passed an immigration law, subsequently signed by Governor Jan Brewer, that mirrored the U.S. law. However the Obama administration made it plain it would not only not help Arizona enforce its law it would work actively against its enforcement. It sued to stop the law from being enacted. It ordered its Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Division not to pick up any illegals Arizona arrested under the law.

What you have is the Federal government prohibiting a state from enforcing a law the Federal government has refused to enforce. Obama decided the law was contrary to his self interest. Obama became the law.

The rule of law was dead and the rule of man—or government agency—had triumphed.

The administration’s challenge of the law was upheld by Federal Judge Susan Bolton and the law gutted and effectively stopped on the day before it was set to take effect. That’s not a surprise. Federal judges, after all, are entities of the government and have come to regularly strike down laws passed by the people.

Bolton, appointed by Democrat Bill Clinton, is probably now hoping for a promotion to the Ninth Circuit, or perhaps to the Supreme Court. With the way Obama hands out job offers, perhaps she’s already been promised one.

Notice that Federal judges rarely strike down laws passed by the fascist elected class contrary to the people’s wishes—or the Constitution.

And while the U.S. Justice Department was working to get Arizona’s legally-passed and lawful immigration law struck down it was doing nothing to require sanctuary cities—those which provide safe harbor to law breakers—to enforce the current immigration law.

The rule of man—or government agency—strikes again.

Meanwhile, thousands of acres of Arizona are now declared off limits to Americans and ceded to Mexican drug cartels and human traffickers. Calls for assistance by local law enforcement to take back their territory—U.S. territory—are ignored by this Evil administration.

On July 23 the Mexican drug cartel Los Zetas crossed into Texas and commandeered two ranches just outside of Laredo. The ranchers, thankfully, escaped without injury. Local law enforcement, outgunned and outmanned by a paramilitary group trained by U.S. agents, don’t know what to do to remove Los Zetas and return the ranches to their owners. Calls for Federal help have gone unheeded. You probably have not even heard about this. The mainstream media didn’t report the incident.

Obama has decided enforcing our Southern border is contrary to his interests. He told Senator Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) that he was not interested in border enforcement because if border enforcement was stepped up Republicans would be reluctant to move on comprehensive immigration reform.

The rule of man—or government agency—is sovereign.

The Obama Justice Department under Attorney General Eric Holder—who has called Americans a nation of cowards when it comes to race—threw out charges against three members of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) who were convicted of intimidating voters outside a Pennsylvania voting booth. Some of those same NBPP members have called for the killing of “white cracker babies.”

The Obama Justice Department turned a blind eye.

The rule of man—or government agency—takes precedence.

Ignoring the Constitution Congress passed a healthcare reform bill—dubbed Obamacare—against the will of the majority. It will impose onerous taxes and regulations on the citizens and result in rationing of substandard healthcare and higher prices.

Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) are the new Axis of Evil. They pushed the bill through despite massive grassroots protests, and when asked where in the Constitution they got the authority, they scoffed.

The rule of man—or government agency—is supreme. The Axis of Evil knows this.

Seeking to drive up energy costs and limit the amount of energy resources available to Americans, Obama and his Axis of Evil cohorts want to pass a Cap and Trade bill. Obama is on record and on video acknowledging such a bill will “necessarily cause energy costs to skyrocket.”

Fascists hoping to secure their re-election have become hesitant to embrace a comprehensive energy tax bill before November, but hold out the prospect of passing it after the election. The Axis of Evil wants it done as soon as it’s politically feasible—even if that means during a lame duck session of Congress.

If that fails the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has said it will enact its own version of Cap and Trade. There is no provision for such a thing in the Constitution. That no longer matters.

The rule of man—or government agency—trumps all.

After several false flag terrorist events on airliners the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began installing backscatter x-ray machines—naked body scanners—in airports and requiring passengers to pass through them before boarding an airplane.

Oh yes, you can decline the cancer-causing dose of radiation, but you must subject yourself to a full-body groping by TSA personnel. Many who have chosen this alternative have described the procedure as being done contemptuously by the agent, as if by declining the irradiation you have somehow offended the agent in charge of your humiliation.

Some who have protested at the vigor with which the agent poked, prodded and felt in the most private of places have then been hauled into back rooms, interrogated as if they were criminals and strip searched. Usually this extra-curricular harassment lasted until the passenger’s plane had long since left the terminal. Some passengers have even been arrested.

Now there is word the TSA wants portable backscatter x-ray machines so they can irradiate and ogle passengers boarding trains and buses and people entering sporting events and concerts.

This is the Evil of the rule of man—or government agency.

For the last several years Federal Reserve policies kept interest rates unjustifiably low, creating a bubble in housing and other sectors of the economy. Large financial institutions, with nothing to lose because of government regulations in place to save them, played fast and loose with investments. They played both sides against the middle and falsified the risk to their investors.

The economy imploded and about 15 million Americans are now out of work, millions more are underemployed, and many have lost their homes, their retirements, their businesses and their dignity.

At the same time, those responsible for regulating those institutions—including members of Congress—received special enrichment deals like low-interest loans and cushy lobbying jobs. The institutions received government bailouts, the members of Congress and the regulators felt no pain, only gain.

In the recently-passed financial reform legislation, pushed by the Axis of Evil and signed into law by Obama last week, is a provision that exempts the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from disclosing records or information compiled during investigations, even if requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). It was FIOA requests by Fox Business Channel that led to the discovery of SEC failures in the Bernie Madoff, R. Allen Stanford and Pequot Asset Management cases that resulted in new charges being filed and a revamp of SEC policies.

The SEC was embarrassed because it had failed to properly investigate those cases. You can be certain it’s no accident those provisions were in the new law.

The financial reform legislation also puts an end to free checking accounts, raises fees for ATMs and makes credit difficult to obtain. It gives the President broad new unconstitutional powers. What it doesn’t do is what the Axis of Evil said it would: reduce the chance that another financial meltdown will occur.

The rule of man—or government agency—prevailed.

As the economy continues to limp along we get mixed signals out of the Axis of Evil and their minions—Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner . “Everything is fine.” “We’ve created or saved millions of jobs.” “The economy is on the rebound.” “Green shoots.” “The weakness will continue.” “We need more stimulus.” “Extend tax cuts.” “Repeal tax cuts.”

All the while they are killing jobs and stifling economic growth through stimulus bills, regulation, uncertainty, higher taxes, extended unemployment benefits and outright, overt attempts to destroy the oil industry in America by preventing new drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and on the U.S. mainland.

They don’t warn you of the coming crash. They don’t tell you to buy gold. They deny that inflation is here and hyperinflation is coming. They want you impoverished. They want you subservient. They want you crawling to them in need. They are Evil.

The rule of man—or government agency—protects its own at the expense of the populace.

And Obama surrounds himself with like-minded thinkers, appointing czars over this and that and making unjustified recess appointments—bypassing the Constitutional requirement that cabinet heads be appointed with the advice and consent of the Senate.

And who are these people he’s appointing? They are avowed communists, practicing Marxists, anti-Semitic Islamists, perverts that promote sex with children, homosexual activists, secularists, atheists and radical environmentalists.

Unlike the rule of law, which is color blind and equal, the rule of man—or government agency—is out for one thing: Creating a totalitarian state and advancing the agenda and enrichment of the man (or woman) setting the policy and running the agency.

That is Evil.
