Time for a Class Action Lawsuit Against Apple

Apple has done it again! They have decided to force their latest Safari browser, coupled with iTunes 9, on each of us. This is purely an anti-competitive practice. I wonder if anyone would like to represent me? The facts: I don't want to use Safari 4, it is bloated, and Safari 3 is my preferred browser of choice. To order in iTunes, a message pops up I have to upgrade my iTunes. I do so, then when I try to use it, it insists that I also have to upgrade my Safari browser. I would like to know if anyone who has removed Safari, has iTunes forcing them to load and use Safari. I recall many legions of folks attacking Microsoft about tying their browser to simple OS functions, like file browsing. Governments across the globe sued, and fined Microsoft. I am waiting for Apple to receive the same courtesy. They have no right to force me into a browser I don't want to use. Matter of fact, I removed iTunes and loaded my older version. I then re-imported my modified music library. I refuse to upgrade based on forced strong arm tactics. I guess I just don't like to be TOLD what to do! What about you?

Obama has SOLD OUT FREE WORLD!

Folks, the UK Telegraph has hit this one on the head. Obama has made America and the World more unsafe, and has set the stage for Russian expansionism. Like it says in the article...

Ronald Reagan, assisted by Margaret Thatcher, implemented the sensible principle that Russia, from the time of Peter the Great, respects only strength and steely political will. A pushover in the Oval Office is the best news Russian expansionists have heard since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Protest Against Socialists Healthcare!

Take a look at this You Tube video, which shows the growth of the crowds in time lapse on Saturday 9/11. This is amazing, and it gives me much hope that the people will be able to stem this Socialist agenda in DC. If the healthcare gets pushed through, get ready for a huge backlash in 2010!

Great Quote - Obama Doctrine

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Sean Hannity for President in 2012?

Why not, Obama somehow came from nowhere. At least Hannity doesn't lie. I like him, and prefer his views to the brick we have in there now.

Idiot NY Governor Says Race is Problem.

Yes, the idiot that is currently Governor of New York, David Paterson, has stated his problems stem from his race. He claims Obama is next on the hit list. News flash moron, your problems stem from your idiotic policies. You gained a seat from Americans who overlooked race. But once in office you couldn't help yourself. You are a bumbling fool who is trying to cover up your idiotic policies by pointing fingers. Same will be said for Obama. He will be our biggest failure in America. Americans' again, elected him while ignoring race, but once in office he can not help but actualize the true bumbling fool nature he has. Try looking at the stupid things you say, do and believe. That is the reason your ship is sinking.

Carbon Dioxide is Irrelevant in the Climate Debate - Proven.

From Rush Limbaugh's Website: Professor Richard Lindzen, MIT, says that "carbon dioxide is irrelevant in the climate debate." Lindzen, nobody disagrees with this man to his face. He has instant credibility, MIT. His work has been peer reviewed. He states, "We now know that the effect of CO2 on temperature is small. We know why it is small. And we know that it is having very little effect on the climate. All of this data leads to the conclusion that the United Nations IPCC models are not only wrong, they're so far off the mark as to be laughable." In other words, the whole bedrock, foundation of manmade global warming, CO2, this MIT professor, says the effect of CO2 on temperature is small and limited.

Obama Health Care, More Truth!

Take a look at exactly what will happen when Obama care takes over. 88 million will lose their private health care, and 16.5 million will remain uninsured. Doesn't sound like a fix to me.

America Hates Social Healthcare

Read this, and watch the guy on the video.

“I’m going to speak my mind before I leave, because your people told me I could,” the protester said once the room quieted down. “I called your office, and was told I could have the mike to speak. And then I was lied to because I came prepared to speak.”

America is speaking out, and heaven help the Liberals if they pass this terrible Healthcare Social Power Grab! Especially, listen to the 35 year old female ask the question, "What are you going to do to return this country to what the founders created according to the Constitution"?"

What do the Conservatives have to say? We all better listen!

Wow! Great question, so what is the answer? We are waiting.

Mark Steyn says Obama not as hip as we thought!

Funny and insightful article by Mark Steyn, National Review columnist, and author from up North, and fill in for Rush Limbaugh during vacation season.

President Obama was supposed to be “cool.” But he isn’t. He’s square. Not just mildly so, but embarrassingly square. He’s squaresville squared. It’s like you’re having a party with your friends and he’s the cringe-making middle-aged parent who wants to show he digs where the young people are at by grooving around in the middle of the dance floor all night long.

But read this part!

Fossil fuel and cement emissions increased by 3.3 percent per year during 2000-2006, compared to 1.3 percent per year in the 1990s. Similarly, atmospheric C02 concentrations increased by 1.93 parts per million per year during 2000-2006, compared to 1.58 ppm in the 1990s. And yet, despite accelerating emission rates and concentrations, there’s been no net warming in the 21st century, and more accurately, a decline.

6 Alternatives to Quicken or MS Money

Here is something a friend of mine asked me to look into. This site provides exactly what I wanted. Here are 6 alternatives to the famous Quicken and MS Money, financial planning software apps for Windows. Some like GNU-CASH has a version for Mac OSX. Also explore some of the other links this Blogger has posted. He seems bright, clear minded, and explains his points of view very well. I plan to keep checking back.

Safari 4, here and gone.

I have had a problem with my Mail on my Mac. When I get ASF Windows attachments, Mail locks up and crashes. Thought it was a plugin, but I don't use any. I checked to be sure. So since I was thinking I may have to reload, I would try Safari 4 out. It is touted as the fastest Safari ever. I guess it is. The things I didn't like though, it looked a bit different. Tab corners were not as smooth, and the appearance just seemed a little different. I tried the newest feature, the one that downloads every page in your bookmarks, in a cover flow design. It was ok, but not needed by me. I also don't want my browser connecting to every single site just to have it at the ready. Thats cool for lazy geeks, but I like to click on my link, and get the page fresh right then and there. Not based on a cache file. Broadband is quite fast enough! I liked Safari 3 because it was fast, small footprint, and not much bloated code. Safari 4 goes against that idea, even if the render engine is beefed up. It is just principle.

My biggest pet peeve about Apple and Mac software updates still stands true today! There is no way to uninstall Safari 4 to back up to Safari 3. Sure you can use Time Machine, but again, thats another big program that eats up system resources. I just want a text or a few buttons. No need for swirly graphics. I want a Software Update option to uninstall Safari 4. No luck.

I re-installed OS X, patched it, and still had the Mail lockup. Seems Apple had a fix package for 10.5.6, for a problem they knew about. That worked! I reloaded for nothing, but the Mac does seem a bit snappier. I just have so many things loaded. yes that may be the problem, I plan to look over what is plugged into the system preferences folder. I may move a few things and see if that helps.

In the meantime, if you like Safari 3, keep it. Apple loves to change things. Seems they used to slap Microsoft around alot, but Windows has a few features that even the Mac has yet to adopt. Maybe Macs are not as great as the price tries to indicate. Oh I bought new laptop too, and Dude, it was a Dell! I saved $1500!

Glenn Beck - America is Fed Up!

Take a look at this letter from a viewer from the Glen Beck Show. It illustrates what most American's want, and how fed up we are with Washington. I see a Conservative revolution brewing!

ABC - One sided STATE run news media

As posted on Drudge Report... Can you say Agenda driven? ABC was one of the last media outlets I trusted. That is gone now. I realize that CBS, NBC and ABC are all controlled by special interest. FOX is the last one to present both sides. Maybe FOX should air a counter point during the Obama Show?

ABC REFUSES OPPOSITION ADS DURING WHITE HOUSE SPECIAL
Wed Jun 17 2009 15:15:00 ET

ABC is refusing to air paid ads during its White House health care presentation, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, including a paid-for alternative viewpoint!

The development comes a day after the network denied a request by the Republican National Committee to feature a representative of the party's views during the Obama special.

Conservatives for Patients Rights requested the rates to buy a 60-second spot immediately preceding 'Prescription for America'.

Statement from Rick Scott, chairman of Conservatives for Patients Rights:

"It is unfortunate - and unusual - that ABC is refusing to accept paid advertising that would present an alternative viewpoint for the White House health care event. Health care is an issue that touches every American and all potential pieces of legislation have carried a pricetag in excess of $1 trillion of taxpayers' money. The American people deserve a healthy, robust debate on this issue and ABC's decision - as of now - to exclude even paid advertisements that present an alternative view does a disservice to the public. Our organization is more than willing to purchase ad time on ABC to present an alternative viewpoint and our hope is that ABC will reconsider having such viewpoints be part of this crucial debate for the American people. We were surprised to hear that paid advertisements would not be accepted when we inquired and we would certainly be open to purchasing time if ABC would reconsider."

Letterman Apologizes - Silent Majority Starting to Speak Up!

David Letterman made some off color jokes about Governor Sarah Palin's daughter. Seems the heat is on, and the so called silent majority, you, the people who believe in morals, and think it not right to lambaste someone just for being related to a public figure... have decided to put pressure on old Liberal CBS and the Letterman show. To the point that Letterman, in his own Late Night delivery, actually apologizes for those jokes. Check out the Letterman video clip. I have always liked Letterman, but the attack on Conservatives must stop!

During a conference call in preparation for President Obama's trip to Cairo, Egypt, where he will address the Muslim world, deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said "the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to -- or before he's been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world -- you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father -- obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago."

Maryland Millionaires Leaving State!

Maryland's idiotic Socialist Governor and Annapolis Democrats have raised taxes enough that 1/3 of our Millionaires have left the state. The only way to increase revenues are to CUT TAXES!

One-third of the millionaires have disappeared from Maryland tax rolls. In 2008 roughly 3,000 million-dollar income tax returns were filed by the end of April. This year there were 2,000, which the state comptroller's office concedes is a "substantial decline." On those missing returns, the government collects 6.25% of nothing. Instead of the state coffers gaining the extra $106 million the politicians predicted, millionaires paid $100 million less in taxes than they did last year -- even at higher rates.

When will they learn?

Is Barry Obama Crazy?

By Joseph Farah, editor and CEO of WorldNetDaily

I KNOW.

"Is Barack Obama Crazy?" is a pretty provocative subject for an email.

I admit, I don't know the answer to the question.

But, given Barack Obama's actions in the first few months of his administration, it's a valid question.

And so, the May issue of WorldNetDaily's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine takes it on.

Let's examine some of the evidence:

If you held a job and people were questioning your qualifications, and all you had to do to put an end to those questions, not to mention more than a dozen lawsuits filed against you, was to produce a valid birth certificate you claimed to possess, would you refuse to take that simple step? Or would you, as Obama has done, spend at least $1 million to fight the lawsuits? I think most people would agree that someone who chose the latter is either crazy or doesn't have a valid birth certificate.

Let's say you got a job in which you succeeded someone with whom you disagreed passionately.Would you try to have that person prosecuted over those differences, knowing that some day, someone with whom you disagree would succeed you and possibly contemplate the same course of action? That's what Obama talked about doing in the case of his disagreement with George W. Bush over the practice of coercive interrogations – policies, I might point out, that were employed not just by his immediate predecessor, but by every war-time president in the history of the United States.

Or what do you make of Obama's efforts to ban the use of the words "terror" and "terrorism" from his administration's lexicon? The administration prefers to call attacks on terrorists "overseas contingency operations." And terrorist attacks at home are referred to as "man-caused disasters." These new terms are apparently considered less offensive to terrorists.

While there are hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens voluntarily serving in arms overseas, the Obama administration put out a report to law enforcement agencies throughout the country to be wary of returning veterans, because they might be more inclined to get involved in "right-wing extremist" activities.

Obama presides – legitimately or illegitimately – over a nation founded on the ideals of "independence" and "national sovereignty." Yet, in a speech given in Prague, what was his prescription for making the world a better place? "All nations must come together to build a stronger, global regime," he said.

How about his solution to an economic crisis spurred by too much indebtedness? More debt.

Let's say you're the first black president. Do you appoint a black attorney general who indicts the people who just elected you as a "nation of cowards" on matters of race?

Imagine appointing to a top policy position at the Defense Department, a columnist from the Los Angeles Times who believes U.S. policies were to blame for the 9/11 attacks by al-Qaida. That would be Rosa Brooks, who also previously referred to Obama's immediate predecessor as "our torturer in chief " and a "psychotic who need(s) treatment" while comparing Bush's arguments for waging a war on terrorism to Adolf Hitler's use of political propaganda.
I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

I don't know if any of these actions mean the president is crazy. But I do know they mean he is dangerous to the security and prosperity of the nation.

This Blogger is Stunned - Obama for Military Tribunals!

Yes, I am truly stunned. Obama reversed some of his anti war rhetoric this past week, and spoke out FOR Military Tribunals, to be held in Guantanimo Bay. I myself think this is a very good thing. I must admit, it is one thing I like from a slew of things I dislike. But I am glad to see Obama has an opinion other than his political base. He has a very long way to go to the middle, but this is progress.

Again - Bailout Money Does NOT Save Chrysler!

More wasted money from American taxpayers. Chrysler will be sold to FIAT! Looks like the bailout money also didn't save Chrysler from almost shutting down, and plants closing. Though the deal says no Chrysler workers will lose jobs, for how long? Eventually, the employees will be tossed out like Obama did to Taxpayer funds! So looks like Obama has helped give Chrysler to a foreign owner!

Obama Bailout Cash Doesn't Save Pontiac!

Seems that the huge bailout cash to GM didn't do a thing. Rather, Pontiac is the first on the chopping block from GM. GM will kill off the Pontiac brand, and take the cash and run. No American Jobs have been saved by the lump sum bailout money. GM also announced that it will be cutting 9 weeks off of production soon.

I look at the Pontiac website, and all I see are small crappy cars. Not the Pontiac I recall as a kid. No wonder they are getting the ax! I am surprised Hummer is still alive!

PCLinuxOS is an rpm based distribution utilizing apt-get with a Synaptic Software Manager frontend. In addition to the above PCLinuxOS comes with mklivecd GUI, a nice utility to build a custom live CD from your install. Install or remove what you want then remaster your own cd. Great for backups or to give to friends. PCLinuxOS is also known as as rolling release distribution. What that means is you install once and update it when new applications become available from our repository.

Capitalist Funded Bailout, NOT Government Funded Bailout!

This is the way America works... The government is not supposed to bailout and aid citizens, that is beyond the scope of government. Private Industry is supposed to help America, as well as private citizens! WalMart once again proves they are TRUE BLUE American. They have donated to charity with some big funds! Thanks to WalMart, even in this generally poor economy!

Salmonella Again?

Seems there is yet another Salmonella poisoning warning. I wonder, why so many in the last few months? 1st it was Spinach, then Eggs, then Tomatoes... Now it is Pistachios. I have to ask, why are the foods we get from overseas so contaminated? This rarely happened when we bought US foods. Could it be mishandling? Could it be by design? I mean on purpose? Time to cut the ties from many of these low rent, low quality countries that employ slave labor to feed America.

Limbaugh Challenges President to Debate!

It was bound to happen. Obama and his camp of cronies have been hot on attacks on Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh decided today, to throw down the white line, and dare Obama to cross it. We all know what will happen. Nothing. Obama and his camp are a bunch of cowards. They talk from media outlets and have others speak for them. But when it comes time to ante up and stand tall for what one believes, only one guy has been doing this, Rush Limbaugh. He has been doing it for 20 years, and I din't expect to see him whimper away now. Matter of fact, I believe that Rush needs to run for President, and then, that will be the only way to counter act the liberal mess we are heading into.

US Debt NOW Exceeds World GDP.

As the Obama administration pushes through Congress its $800 billion deficit-spending economic stimulus plan, the American public is largely unaware that the true deficit of the federal government already is measured in trillions of dollars, and in fact its $65.5 trillion in total obligations exceeds the gross domestic product of the world.

Thursday, February 12, 2009

Ann Coulter - Goodbye America - Why? Why Not?

Ann Coulter, one of my favorite columnists and authors, has posed a brilliant question.

Why not make the "stimulus bill" a kazillion dollars?

Indeed, why stop at 800 Billion? Why limit the economic stimulus? The sky is the limit! You all want things to get better right... We should simply cut to the chase, turn over all property to our government, as well as all money and savings, and expect they will distribute it properly. Why wouldn't they? They know best in Washington, better than we could ever hope to. They are the smartest, best, most righteous, least scandalous, and most honorable. I say give it all to them. That's what America really voted for last November, real change, and oh, by the way, send that into Washington DC, too.

Michael Steele NEW Leader of Republicans!

It is a momentous event, a REAL Conservative is in charge of the Republican Party! Michael Steele has garnered the support needed to attempt to rebuild the conservative roots of the Republicans. He has 2 years, the length of his term. Take a look at the new leadership for America via the RNC Webpage!

Proud to be Republican Again! My Plan!

Our Republican members of the House of Representatives did a brave thing yesterday! They opposed the PORK Bill that President Obama is trying to push through Congress. I didn't think they had the guts, but this spending Pork bill, even though it passed, did just that without any Republican votes! Awesome! Finally some reps who understand that this bill should have been debated, and the Congress is trying to hurry a Bill that is bad for America. This Bill will give money to Obama support groups and local organizers who supported Obama, not relief for all Americans.

Here is my PLAN. Get rid of all Taxes against the purchase of any new or used vehicle, car or truck, or SUV... across the board, and remove all Gasoline Taxes. Do both of these for 4 years. These two things alone will churn sales and new found money, and get America back to work and prosperous again. Also, slash Income Taxes by 1/3, and remove all regulations for drilling oil, coal, and natural gas for 2 years. It is that simple!

American Government - Republic

This short clip is so well stated, and so clearly explained, I had to place it here online. I see many parallels in todays insistence to move forward with what the majority "wants", ignoring our established limits and laws that restrict government. I urge you to listen to this whole clip, and consider what you prefer, and what you really want from government. This is a truly educational clip that will provide you with real information and exacting details on transitions of power from one form of government to another.

Senate Cowards Buckle Under in 1 Day!

The Cowards in the US Senate have put their tails between their legs and whimpered. Yes, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who refused to step down after allegations he was selling Obama's Senate seat... Instead appointed Obama's replacement prior to being charged (and against wishes of Senate and Democrat leadership). The Senate said a day earlier that Roland Burris would not be seated and read the oath to join Congress. However, what a difference a day makes. In their usual style Congressional Democrat leadership buckled, gave up, and threw in the white flag. Again they prove there is no fight worth fighting, and no principle worth backing. Congrats to the Illinois Governor. This is not just a seating of the ONLY black man in Congress, but it is also an affirmation that the Governor does have the authority to appoint. Not only that, but I am sure his defense will rest in the fact that the Senate saw fit to recognize that no wrong doing was executed, and that he is innocent based on the fact that he did not go through with any illegal dealings, appointed Burris legally, and any allegations of Blago selling the seat is false or blown out of proportion. Brilliant man! He could say he was kidding. Or his comments were just a mere fact finding mission. He beat his own party and their own game. We need Conservatives with a brain for strategy, like this man has!

EU President says Global Warming is Myth!

Finally someone from what is normally the seat of Global Warming hysteria. Seems the new EU head believes like I do, that Global Warming caused by humans is ridiculous. Republicans Accuse Bush of Socialism!

I understand, President Bush has been accused of embracing Socialism. The Republicans plan to pass a resolution against the President proclaiming this very thing. I sure understand, Bush has not been the poster child of conservative values. Matter of fact, the ironic thing is that the Liberal Democrats have hated him for winning his 2 elections, and his only friends were the Republicans. I would expect Liberal Socialism from Obama, but Socialism from Bush was something that takes us by surprise. Seems Obama is not as much of a change agent as he had proclaimed. Bush would have been better off taking a hard stand in conservatism through his 8 years, than trying to reach across the aisle. It does no good, and you get fried for it. Lesson learned.

Libs Dish It OUT, BUT Can't Take it!

Saturday Night Live did a skit against the legally blind scandal ridden Liberal Governor of New York, and seems that the Liberals can not take the joke when they get served. Republicans have been taking it on the chin for 8 years, with President Bush attacked almost daily, for his wit or supposed lack of. Finally SNL does a job on a Lib and they whine, whine, whine.

President Bush Too FAST for Shoe Thrower!

President Bush showed his cat like reflexes when he dodged, not one, but 2 shoes thrown at him while in Iraq. His comments, he said that it didn't bother him, thats what happens in free societies!

Macbook Air - Another Problem with Apple Hardware/Software

Yet again, Apple has released a buggy product (From Tidbits.com). This time it is the NEW Macbook Air. The display has horizontal white lines messing the display. Very difficult to actually believe, but confirmed. Seems Apple is stumped and working on this one. I wonder, and have pondered before, just what kind of acceptance testing they do in the labs in Cupertino. Seems they have alot of problems in consistency, and quality - over the last few years. iTunes has been and still is buggy, many iMac updates have clunked and flunked, iPods have had scratchy displays, Mac laptops have had disintegrating surfaces, and too many software bugs have plagued the company since it's popular iPod came to mainstream acceptance. My question, does Apple have enough resources, and are they quality people? Or are they bogged down in too many projects, and under pressure to deliver products too quickly for the holidays? It would seem all to easy to concentrate on core products, and ensure they are quality, prior to feature glut and gee whiz tools. But again Apple has flunked the quality testing.

Alan Colmes Leaves Fox Show!

One of my favorite liberals, one who was actually likable, is leaving the Hannity and Colmes show to try new things. It has been 12 years, and enough is enough, apparently. I can not say I agreed with him, but his charming way of insisting the liberal way was the right way, was always entertaining.

Bush Economy Actually Was GREAT!

Check out this paragraph on the actual numbers of poor who got out of their rut, or the numbers of people who increased their income under President Bush. Shame this information was not touched on by our media, in order to win an election. Obama's platform is doom and gloom, raise taxes, and limit freedom. Too bad a majority blindly swallowed this information!

The Bush economy, like the Reagan economy: lowering people's taxes was superb for people, and the economy was roaring for this to be the case. We kept hearing about the failed Bush policies of the last eight years and how we gotta go in there and change all of this, "And by God, we're going to change it and these numbers of people growing their income..." It ain't going to happen. Those people now are going to face Obama's new tax increases, folks. This is going to be choked off; this is going to be shut down. "The poorest segment of the electorate, those making under $15,000, has shrunk from 11 percent to 6 percent over the past dozen years. And those making $15,000 to $30,000 annually -- the working poor -- also shrunk from 23 percent to 12 percent of the electorate." Do you realize the magnitude of these numbers? The poor got richer, everybody got richer, but they were "the failed policies of the last eight years." The failed policies of the last eight years, and the media jumping right along, trying to convince you while you were doing great -- while you were doing well, while you were upwardly mobile -- that somehow it wasn't real. It wasn't happening because not everybody was and you had to be feeling guilty about it.

Rush Limbaugh Gives Away NEW Vehicle!

Rush Limbaugh, the generous gentleman that he is, recently gave away a new vehicle, to a random lucky caller. Read the article for yourself to get the details. Funny thing is that the person who received the car chose an SUV! This means to me that people really do prefer larger vehicles, especially if they are free or cheaper. So much for the idea that large vehicles are "out" and smaller ones are vogue.

American Hero - John McCain!

Now here is a picture worth posting! An American Hero. A man who dared to hang in with his team, take real abuses, not like rock music in Gitmo. An American Hero worth voting for! A man who endured torture, and understands our enemies, and understands we want reputable leaders! Make his pain worth it all, vote McCain. At least check out his website, it just makes sense!

What about Sarah Palin?

"I'm a Democrat, but I've worked as a consultant with the McCain campaign since shortly after Palin's nomination. Last week, there was the thought that as a former editor-in-chief of Ms. magazine as well as a feminist activist in my pre-journalism days, I might be helpful in contributing to a speech that Palin had long wanted to give on women's rights. What is often called her 'confidence' is actually a rarity in national politics: I saw a woman who knows exactly who she is." --Elaine Lafferty

Joe Biden Afraid of Questions!

Joe Biden was so angered by riveting hardball questions that Jill Biden interview has been cancelled. I ask, what if Biden is in intensive negotiations with an unfriendly force or country, what then, will he be angry? Will he roll his eyes, or storm out of the talks crying? He can't answer hard questions because he doesn't want you to know the answers. It is about time that media does it's job, and WFTV should be proud! See the video.

See the same interviewer also throw McCain hardball questions!

Who Supports McCain?

I'm sure you didn't hear of the over 100 endorsements for McCain from Military Commanders - since the media doesn't share that information - so here's a list for you

McCain gets support from four former secretaries of state (Even tho former Secretary of State Colin Powell tossed is hat towards Obama).

Henry Kissinger, retired Gen. Alexander Haig, Lawrence Eagleburger and George Shultz all said they would support McCain. The former heads of the State Department said the senator's leadership skills, his record and his vision make him the right choice for president in difficult times.

"The world's challenges are radically changing and our country needs John McCain's experience and optimism, said Kissinger, who served as secretary of state from 1973 to 1977 and won a Nobel Prize for his efforts to end the Vietnam War.

"His record, character, and belief that America's best days lie ahead make John McCain the right leader for these times, added Kissinger.

Senator McCain has been endorsed by over 100 generals and admirals from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps[40], among them:

Hawaii ENDS Universal Health Care

As reported by API, Hawaii has ended the Universal Health Care experiment, 7 months after initiating it. Basically it was too costly, and everyone scrambled to use it, even those who could afford health care. Gee whiz, free stuff, and they didn't expect everyone in the state to share in it. This is proof that Universal Health care will not work, and can not be sustained.

Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae SCAM fortold in 2004 by Republicans

In 2004, Republicans held an oversight hearing on Freddie Mae and Fannie Mac. They warned us about this crisis back then, but Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and other Democrats charged racism. Franklin Raines, the disgraced thief Democrat CEO of Fannie Mae, insisted the loans were "riskless."

Washington Post says fraud was happening back in 2005.

Listen to the bonuses execs got from Fannie Mae, and then even President Clinton acknowledged there were problems. Watch and listen to Democrats paint this as a race issue, versus a financial issue!

AIG Bailout? Do it this way!

This is interesting, received in email, the person may just have a point here.

AIG......why not do it this way?????

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to in a We Deserve It Dividend.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..

So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.

Of course, it would NOT be tax free.

So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.

That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.

A husband and wife has $595,000.00.What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?

Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.

Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads.

Put away money for college - it'll be there.

Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.

Buy a new car - create jobs!

Invest in the market - capital drives growth.

Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improve.

Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other
company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( "vote buy" ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!

As for AIG - liquidate it.

Sell off its parts.

Let American General go back to being American General.

Sell off the real estate.

Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't.

Sure it's a crazy idea that can "never work."

But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!

How do you spell Economic Boom?

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in .

And remember, The Family plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

Robert X. Cringely explains why I get passed up for Management jobs!

I am a big fan of Robert's columns. This one explains why people like us get overlooked for management positions. I am finally beginning to understand. Take a gander at Door Number Three.

There’s a point to all these firing stories and they actually do relate to IT. I’m typical of a lot of IT types. You know us. We are useful but sometimes a pain in the ass. We have opinions and speak our minds and don’t suffer fools at all. We stand up to authority from time to time. Sometimes we’re wrong. We get fired a lot and hired a lot, too, because we are generally useful, though dangerous.

Iraqi Leader says Obama Tried to Stall Pullout Plan!

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Barry Obama would rather risk more lives lost, and delay the scheduled pullout, to win an election, rather than do what's right. Hmmm, sad!

Linpus OS & Awesome Small Acer Laptop - Aspire One!

A friend of mine introduced me to this gem. She is considering it for her son, and I must admit, it looks nice. It is very small, easy to carry, has all the features of a normal laptop, and has Linux loaded on it, with a unique simple interface. The images at the site offer a look. I was so intrigued, I decided to go grab the free operating System it uses. The laptop has the new Intel Atom processor, and option for a memory based hard drive, no moving parts. Best thing is the low price!

See my intro to Linpus here on YouTube! This is the freeware version, not actually the Acer bundled version.

Maryland Prince George's County Police OUT OF CONTROL

Thats right, the Prince George's County Police wrongfully invaded the home of the local Berwyn Heights Mayor, and kills his 2 dogs. This kind of home invasion is totally uncalled for, unconstitutional, and illegal. These jack booted thugs should be fired! There is enough crime on the streets that there is absolutely no need for police to invade private residences. Not to mention that of elected officials. Someone could have been killed. The Mayor's security police force may have even responded to a shoot out. I hope the Mayor is doing well, and I wish my best to his family. Now Mayor, take action to put a halt to this nonsense!

Digital TV Coming in Feb 09 - Get Coupon for Converter!

If you have not heard, your regular old fashioned TV channels are going away in February 2009. They will be replaced with new digital signals. This means old TVs won't get reception. BUT if you purchase a new converter box, you can continue to use your older TV with the new signal. Simply apply for a coupon online at this site, and this will allow you to get one for around $10.00. It acts just like a VCR or cable converter box. It displays TV through channel 3. I must say that I just hooked my uncles up, and the quality of channel clarity is excellent. There are even more channels, believe it or not. Locally here in Baltimore, you can get special 24 hour weather channels from the main commercial stations. Nice and hidden feature that many people do not know about. I recall cable tv when it began, and the lure was a clear channel. Now you could even drop cable, but bare in mind many special channels only on cable, will still not be available locally. But what you will get will finally be clear!

New York Times Attempt to Censor McCain

Last week the New York Times posted an Editorial from Barack Obama. This week Senator McCain submits a response, but has it denied. This is obvious censorship, the Times doesn't want you to read it. We all know why, without information, you can not choose the best candidate. NYT doesn't want you to choose the best candidate, only the one they like. This is cowardly and un-American. But then who ever claimed the NY Times had America's interests at heart?

From The DRUDGE REPORT the McCain editorial in its submitted form:

In January 2007, when General David Petraeus took command in Iraq, he called the situation “hard” but not “hopeless.” Today, 18 months later, violence has fallen by up to 80% to the lowest levels in four years, and Sunni and Shiite terrorists are reeling from a string of defeats. The situation now is full of hope, but considerable hard work remains to consolidate our fragile gains.

Progress has been due primarily to an increase in the number of troops and a change in their strategy. I was an early advocate of the surge at a time when it had few supporters in Washington. Senator Barack Obama was an equally vocal opponent. "I am not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq is going to solve the sectarian violence there,” he said on January 10, 2007. “In fact, I think it will do the reverse."

Now Senator Obama has been forced to acknowledge that “our troops have performed brilliantly in lowering the level of violence.” But he still denies that any political progress has resulted.

Perhaps he is unaware that the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has recently certified that, as one news article put it, “Iraq has met all but three of 18 original benchmarks set by Congress last year to measure security, political and economic progress.” Even more heartening has been progress that’s not measured by the benchmarks. More than 90,000 Iraqis, many of them Sunnis who once fought against the government, have signed up as Sons of Iraq to fight against the terrorists. Nor do they measure Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki’s new-found willingness to crack down on Shiite extremists in Basra and Sadr City—actions that have done much to dispel suspicions of sectarianism.

The success of the surge has not changed Senator Obama’s determination to pull out all of our combat troops. All that has changed is his rationale. In a New York Times op-ed and a speech this week, he offered his “plan for Iraq” in advance of his first “fact finding” trip to that country in more than three years. It consisted of the same old proposal to pull all of our troops out within 16 months. In 2007 he wanted to withdraw because he thought the war was lost. If we had taken his advice, it would have been. Now he wants to withdraw because he thinks Iraqis no longer need our assistance.

To make this point, he mangles the evidence. He makes it sound as if Prime Minister Maliki has endorsed the Obama timetable, when all he has said is that he would like a plan for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. troops at some unspecified point in the future.

Senator Obama is also misleading on the Iraqi military's readiness. The Iraqi Army will be equipped and trained by the middle of next year, but this does not, as Senator Obama suggests, mean that they will then be ready to secure their country without a good deal of help. The Iraqi Air Force, for one, still lags behind, and no modern army can operate without air cover. The Iraqis are also still learning how to conduct planning, logistics, command and control, communications, and other complicated functions needed to support frontline troops.

No one favors a permanent U.S. presence, as Senator Obama charges. A partial withdrawal has already occurred with the departure of five “surge” brigades, and more withdrawals can take place as the security situation improves. As we draw down in Iraq, we can beef up our presence on other battlefields, such as Afghanistan, without fear of leaving a failed state behind. I have said that I expect to welcome home most of our troops from Iraq by the end of my first term in office, in 2013.

But I have also said that any draw-downs must be based on a realistic assessment of conditions on the ground, not on an artificial timetable crafted for domestic political reasons. This is the crux of my disagreement with Senator Obama.

Senator Obama has said that he would consult our commanders on the ground and Iraqi leaders, but he did no such thing before releasing his “plan for Iraq.” Perhaps that’s because he doesn’t want to hear what they have to say. During the course of eight visits to Iraq, I have heard many times from our troops what Major General Jeffrey Hammond, commander of coalition forces in Baghdad, recently said: that leaving based on a timetable would be “very dangerous.”

The danger is that extremists supported by Al Qaeda and Iran could stage a comeback, as they have in the past when we’ve had too few troops in Iraq. Senator Obama seems to have learned nothing from recent history. I find it ironic that he is emulating the worst mistake of the Bush administration by waving the “Mission Accomplished” banner prematurely.

I am also dismayed that he never talks about winning the war—only of ending it. But if we don’t win the war, our enemies will. A triumph for the terrorists would be a disaster for us. That is something I will not allow to happen as president. Instead I will continue implementing a proven counterinsurgency strategy not only in Iraq but also in Afghanistan with the goal of creating stable, secure, self-sustaining democratic allies.

George W’s War - Really?

Good Article, but I can not confirm it is from Investor's Business Daily, but the info is still relevant!

By INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY | Posted Friday, June 20, 2008 4:20 PM PT

No one likes war. War is a horrific affair, bloody and expensive. Sending our men and women into battle to perhaps die or be maimed is an unconscionable thought.

Yet some wars need to be waged, and someone needs to lead. The citizenry and Congress are often ambivalent or largely opposed to any given war. It’s up to our leader to convince them. That’s why we call the leader “Commander in Chief.”

George W.’s war was no different. There was lots of resistance to it. Many in Congress were vehemently against the idea. The Commander in Chief had to lobby for legislative approval.

Along with supporters, George W. used the force of his convictions, the power of his title and every ounce of moral suasion he could muster to rally support. He had to assure Congress and the public that the war was morally justified, winnable and affordable. Congress eventually came around and voted overwhelmingly to wage war.

George W. then lobbied foreign governments for support. But in the end, only one European nation helped us. The rest of the world sat on its hands and watched.

After a few quick victories, things started to go bad. There were many dark days when all the news was discouraging. Casualties began to mount. It became obvious that our forces were too small. Congress began to drag its feet about funding the effort.

Many who had voted to support the war just a few years earlier were beginning to speak against it and accuse the Commander in Chief of misleading them. Many critics began to call him incompetent, an idiot and even a liar. Journalists joined the negative chorus with a vengeance.

As the war entered its fourth year, the public began to grow weary of the conflict and the casualties. George W.’s popularity plummeted. Yet through it all, he stood firm, supporting the troops and endorsing the struggle.

Without his unwavering support, the war would have surely ended, then and there, in overwhelming and total defeat.

At this darkest of times, he began to make some changes. More troops were added and trained. Some advisers were shuffled, and new generals installed.

Then, unexpectedly and gradually, things began to improve. Now it was the enemy that appeared to be growing weary of the lengthy conflict and losing support. Victories began to come, and hope returned.

Many critics in Congress and the press said the improvements were just George W.’s good luck. The progress, they said, would be temporary. He knew, however, that in warfare good fortune counts.

Then, in the unlikeliest of circumstances and perhaps the most historic example of military luck, the enemy blundered and was resoundingly defeated. After six long years of war, the Commander in Chief basked in a most hard-fought victory.

So on that historic day, Oct. 19, 1781, in a place called Yorktown, a satisfied George Washington sat upon his beautiful white horse and accepted the surrender of Lord Cornwallis, effectively ending the Revolutionary War.

Ultimate Warrior Giving away Treasured Wrestling Belt!

Yes, and yours truly entered the "contest" in Warrior style. I really enjoyed writing this one, brought back the thrill of seeing the big guy back in the 80's. Warrior will be returning to the ring June 25th, from Barcelona, Spain - and you can view the big event via the Internet. Sure to be interesting. Could we be seeing the return to action full time? We will just have to wait and see.
I posted: "When the blood of the non believers flows swiftly down the throats of those who would speak out against the triumphant return of the one true Warrior! Mountains will collide, seas will spill over into the cavernous voids where no men dare follow. There you will find the strap of eternal light. Held tightly in hands that no mortal could dislodge. That true believer will glimpse into the power which can only be freely given, to hurl planets across the galactic void. Power of Ultimate Warrior!"

See clips and weight training videos as he prepares for the return. Best wishes and good luck, UW!

Obama Campaign Treats Women Terribly at Rally

Rush unveiled an article at Politico.com yesterday, the terrible treatment that American supporters of his campaign endure. Read this excerpt below from Rush Limbaugh's site.
RUSH: A fascinating story just cleared the wires at Politico.com: "Two Muslim women at Barack Obama's rally in Detroit Monday night," where Algore came out with that silly endorsement speech, "two Muslim women at Obama's rally in Detroit were barred from sitting behind the podium by campaign volunteers seeking to prevent the women's headscarves from appearing in photographs or on television with the candidate. The campaign has apologized to the women, both Obama supporters, who said they felt betrayed by their treatment at the rally." Bill Burton, Obama spokesman, said, "This is of course not the policy of the campaign." Of course not, Bill. No, it can't possibly be the policy of the campaign. You just have some renegade volunteers running around telling women wearing burqas, "Not on this shot, you're not going to be sitting behind us, babe." It's just a couple of freelancers running around doing this, eh, Bill? No, of course not. It's not the policy of the campaign. Burton then continued by saying, "It is offensive and counter to Obama's commitment to bring Americans together and simply not the kind of campaign we run."
It shows the hidden two faced agenda Barack Hussein Obama has up his sleeve. Shameful. Keep an eye out for me to come in the next few months. People may try, but they can not hide their true self for long, Sweetie.

President Bush wants to Drill for new Oil Reserves...

... But the Democrats in Congress are staunchly against it. Why? They say it will not serve as any short term solution. Ok so what, it is a long term aid. Drill, lets see what happens. Better than not doing anything! Read the President's Speech, and tell me what part doesn't make sense. I remember when I was younger, Americans used to expect more for each generation. Todays Congress expects us to do with less. Thats un-American at its core. Americans never did turn tail and say it can not be done, but our Congress only knows that one word. NO.

Al Gore - Uses MORE Energy than a Year ago!

This is actually hard to believe, but seems true. Al Gore, champion of smaller carbon footprints, has allowed his to grow from last year! He is using 10% more, while preaching everyone else should conserve.
In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.
Amazing! While he urges us to save and reduce, his mansion burns away at unprecedented rates. Now I don't mind listening to those who believe that we should conserve, and I respect the efforts they take to meet their own goals. But when a 2 faced jack rabbit like Gore eats more power than most people on the planet use, while urging we cut back... Well I do not respect or listen to nonsense from fools. Only fools follow fools.

John Coleman - Weather Channel Founder Speaks on Global Warming

This is a must read for everyone. John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, spoke out publicly to the San Diego Chamber of Commerce recently . This is what he said which has been reposted on the KUSI website from San Diego! The facts are astounding, and I agree, Al Gore should be sued in a Court of Law.

Iraq Safer than Detroit!

From Ann Coulter, a brilliant observation:
According to a CNN report last week, for the entire month of May, there were only 19 troop deaths in Iraq. (Last year, five people on average were shot every day in Chicago.) With Iraqi deaths at an all-time low, Iraq is safer than Detroit -- although the Middle Eastern food is still better in Detroit.

Another Idiot, NBC's Brian Wilson

Yes, Brian Wilson has proclaimed that America is broken. Yes another broken news anchor, he said this to Ohio State College Grads on Sunday. The implications are that this fool believes that America is fumbling and misguided. Well lets see, we are the last bastion of hope and freedom in the world, Socialism far outweighs Democracies per country, and the liberal media has yet to offer real news... instead they insist on editorializing their own one sided views to audiences who are sick and tired of being told what to think and do. NBC should be ashamed to have such a close minded liberal sponge regurgitate news and views to College Grads, who have already been indoctrinated in "Socialism works better than Democracy" group think. I am calling for the resignation of Brian Williams, he should be put to pasture.

Boring Apple iPhone Announcements

Apple unveiled a new 3G Apple iPhone, due out in July. It is faster, easier to program apps for, and many new games have come out. GREAT, whoop de do. I myself could care less. I don't plan on an iPhone in my future, $199 or not, and for Apple to clog up the Keynote with all and only iPhone apps, well, who cares? Ok ok, I know alot of you do. You LOVE the iPhone. I just don't care to do all my computing on a small hand held thing. I prefer a large screen and keyboard. What's next, Apple will ante up and sell us a super small HD display movie screen that we can carry on our ear or nose? I just don't want a miniaturized computing environment. Yeah, I own a cell phone, hardly have it turned on really. It is just for emergencies. Matter of fact, I was thinking of canning it. I would have rather seen an iPhone with a keychain on one end. Many other mini cell phone companies already have the features we want. I do not want ebay selling on a phone. eBay is dying out anyway in lieu of free sales sites. Ok iPhone has some cool features, but here is yet another company trying to sell us something we do not need. What a cool gee whiz toy or feature, but really, I do not care. Time to save some money for the new taxes liberals will be placing on us if Obama the Great wins the Presidency.

Green Gasoline Replacement - SwiftFuel

Robert X. Cringely tells us about an astonishing Gasoline replacement. SwiftFuel is made for Aviation from a new idea, a crop of Sorghum. China is moving to it to replace Ethanol. Robert hits on another great brain child even though I actually feel the Gasoline crisis is arbitrary and controlled by greedy politicians and past politicians who are making a mint on the so called Green movement. Anyhow, it would still be great to find an alternative to Gasoline, that can cohabit with it, so we can transition America to not just reduce our foreign oil dependency, but eliminate it. In the meantime, we should be drilling our current resources and using it, while we transition and develop this new source of fuel.
